Challenge/Goal
To develop HR people, processes, and systems for a rapidly-growing global organization based in San Francisco while assisting in the hire and onboarding of a new 3-person HR team. To ensure that HR operations and recruiting needs were well managed in the interim.
Our Role – Outsourced HR Operations Support
We deployed a qualified senior-level HR team leader and brought in other experts for assistance as needed during the project.
- Conducted investigations, handled employee relations, and developed the manager’s playbook.
- Implemented HR policies to bring the company into compliance.
- Trained an internally-promoted employee to take over certain HR duties.
- Supported the hiring efforts for several positions in marketing and a position for the executive team.
- Helped to hire the Director of Global HR Operations and an HR administrative associate.
Results
We successfully handed over the HR operations to the new HR team once they were onboarded. We also stayed on call for a short period until the new HR team was fully acclimated.
